What is an eVisit?
Your appointment, virtually
An eVisit appointment is like a regular appointment, except the doctor you will be seeing and speaking with consults with you virtually.
eVisits — or telemedicine — are steadily gaining acceptance because so many people now have access to both high-speed internet and the devices needed for a video consultation.
This service is only available to patients who have been referred to and registered with Brantford Pediatrics. Not registered yet? Start your registration.

Step by step
How to Start Your eVisit
Six steps from the email invitation to your appointment.
-
Check your email from OTN
Look for a message from the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). It contains a link to an app called Infinity.
-
Download the app
Install Infinity on the device you plan to use for the appointment.
-
Go back to the email
Once downloaded, return to the email without opening the app. At the bottom of the email, click the “Start eVisit” button — it will take you to a webpage.
-
Select “Start my eVisit”
On that webpage there is another button, “Start my eVisit”. Clicking it opens the app.
-
Allow permissions
Give the app permission to use your camera, microphone and calendar.
-
Join the visit
Tap the large green button to start your eVisit. Your doctor will join you shortly.
